DEER CREEK Coffeehouse

Welcome to Season 6!

Live folk and singer songwriter music

Come listen, have a cup of coffee, tap your foot, hum, smile, shed

a tear and maybe even sing along

We invite you to explore live folk and singer/songwriter music in an intimate setting at Deer Creek Coffeehouse (DCC), a non-alcoholic venue located in the picturesque setting of Darlington, MD. DCC seats approximately 80 people at small, candlelit tables, in the friendly and cozy style of the coffee houses of the 1950’s and 1960’s. Now in its fifth season, DCC, a non-profit organization, is devoted to presenting professional acoustic recording artists from all over the U.S. and Canada. If you’re not familiar with any of our scheduled performers or their music, tune your ears to their websites found on the schedule page. Where else do you get a chance to interact with the artists and hear the stories behind their songs? So come listen, have a cup of coffee, tap your foot, hum, smile, shed a tear and maybe even sing along.   Beginning this season, the suggested donation amount for each show is $12 for adults and $5 for youth ages 13-21. Only cash and checks written to Deer Creek Coffeehouse are accepted. No one is turned away for inability to donate the amount. Doors open 30 minutes prior to each show. No advance ticket sales or reservations are offered at this time.
